1. Who We Are

MirrorCut is a product of Kartikships, reachable at contact@kartikships.xyz. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms mean Kartikships as the operator of MirrorCut.

2. The Service

MirrorCut is a web application that lets you upload a photo, preview AI-generated hairstyle looks on your face, and receive barber-ready style instructions.

Credits are used to generate hairstyle previews. One credit typically equals one generation. Credit packs can be purchased when payments are enabled on your account.

Previews are illustrative only. Results may vary based on your photo, hair type, and styling. MirrorCut does not guarantee that a real-world haircut will match a preview exactly.

3. Accounts

You may sign up using email or supported OAuth providers (such as Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security or abuse risk.

4. Acceptable Use

• Upload only photos you have the right to use — typically photos of yourself.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or violates others' privacy or intellectual property rights.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
• Do not resell, redistribute, or misrepresent generated previews as professional advice or guaranteed outcomes.
• Do not use the service to create deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading content.

5. Credits and Payments

Credit packs are digital goods delivered instantly upon successful payment. Credits are non-transferable and tied to your MirrorCut account.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as Merchant of Record for applicable transactions. Pricing, taxes, and invoicing may be handled according to Dodo Payments' policies and your location.

We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Payment information is collected and processed by our payment provider.

If a payment fails or is reversed due to fraud or chargebacks, associated credits may be removed and your account may be restricted.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. By purchasing credits, you agree to those terms.

Unused credits may be eligible for refund within the window stated in the Refund Policy. Credits that have been consumed to generate previews are generally not refundable.

7. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of photos you upload. You grant MirrorCut a limited license to store, process, and use those photos solely to provide the service — including generating previews and maintaining your generation history.

MirrorCut owns the platform, software, branding, style catalog, and other materials we provide. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them except as allowed by these terms.

AI-generated previews are provided for your personal use. Commercial reuse may require our prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including uploaded photos and account data. By using MirrorCut, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

MirrorCut is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not provide professional grooming, medical, or styling advice. Always consult a qualified barber or stylist for in-person services.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kartikships and MirrorCut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to MirrorCut in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you have not made a purchase.

11. Termination

You may stop using MirrorCut at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.

Continued use of MirrorCut after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
